    The 5th annual Hurricane Expo will by held at the Museum of Science and Industry (MOSI) on June 2nd from 9:00 am - 2:00 pm. This is a free event presented by the City of Tampa and Hillsborough County. Those who attend the Expo can tour MOSI for a discounted charge of $8.

  • Take your small business to the next level

    Tory Johnsons Spark and Hustle conference for current and aspiring small business owners will take place at the Hyatt Regency on June 19th from 8:15 am to 5:00 pm. Tickets are $97; lunch is included in the price.

  • Help Provide Services For Those With hearing Loss And Deafness

    The 5th annual Caring for our Community Celebration will take place at the Wyndham Hotel on May 12 from 7-10 pm. Tickets are $100 each and proceed go to support Communication Access; dress is business casual to semi-formal. Sign language interpreters will be on hand.

  • Enjoy a fantasy hair, art and fashion show in Tampa

    The 5th annual Mane Event will take place at Green Iguana Stadium on May 19 beginning at 8 pm. Tickets are $20; dress is casual chic and admission is limited to those over 21. The event will benefit the Big Cat Rescue and Equestrian Inc. Horse Rescue of Tampa.

    The 9th Tampa Bay International Dragon Boat Races and the 2012 Asia Fest will take place at Cotanchobee Fort Brooke Park on April 28th. Both events are free to the public.

    Pearls of Wisdom Spring into Fashion will take place at Neiman Marcus tomorrow, March 27, from 4:30-6 pm. Tickets are $15 for members of the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce and $25 for non-members.

    The United Way of Tampa Bay will present the Art of Giving: Caring with Style at the A La Carte Pavilion on April 12 beginning at 5 pm. Tickets are $125 and all of the proceeds will go to support the United Ways Summer Care program.

    The 6th annual Road to Health Poker Run to support Shriners Hospital for Children will kick off at Kahunas Bar and Grill in St. Petersburg on March 3 at 11 am. Poker costs $20 for the first hand and $10 for each subsequent hand.

  • Enjoy an outdoor arts festival in Tampa

    The 42nd annual Raymond James Gascarilla Festival of the Arts will take place at Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park on March 3-4. This free event is one of the largest juried art festivals in the area; 300 artists are selected to take part in this festival.

  • Tampa celebrates Valentines Day cards

    Saint Valentines Day is rapidly approaching and lovers everywhere are getting ready to declare their love for one another. The Henry B. Plant Museum will be holding a couple of events to help celebrate the holiday. Admission to the museum is $10 for adults, $7 for students and seniors and $5 for children; museum members are admitted free.
